Amnesia is a result of partial and/or complete loss of memory. Most amnesia cases occurred due to old age with other associated mental disorders.

Kind of Amnesia

Verbal Amnesia – patient forgets words and/or names of people they know
Temporary Amnesia – temporary loss of memory, can also forget patients own identity

Symptoms of Amnesia

Forgetfullness

Causes of Amnesia

  • Limited or poor blood supply in the brain
  • Poor memory functions and weakness of brain
  • Anxiety neurosis
  • Accidents and/or injuries in origin are mostly for Temporary Amnesia

Treatment / Home Remedies for Amnesia

Rosemary:
In tea form, this enhances mental agility

Walnut:
Consume 20 grams of walnuts every day. Best if taken with figs or raisins

Apple:
An effective tonic and recharges the nerves with new energy and life.

Sage:
in tea form, prepare from dried sage leaves can be used in everyday basis

Cumin Seeds:
Prepare 3 grams black cumin seeds should be and mixed with two teaspoonfuls of honey and should bee taken at least once a day.

Diet Suggestion for Amnesia

Consume food that contains high Phosphorus content like:

  • Cereals
  • Nuts
  • Egg yolk
  • Fruit juice
  • Milk

Other Suggestions for Amnesia

Have a sufficient sleep and rest
Meditation can help cure amnesia
