Diet
An effective treatment for anorexia is a thorough cleansing of the digestive tract, adapting an all-juice diet, and a change of lifestyle. To begin this diet, the patient should not eat anything for 3-5 days, drinking only a glass of orange juice and water. Get a glass of warm water and add orange juice in it every two hours, during 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. Do not consume anything other than the prescribed mixture while under this treatment. If the orange juice diet fails to work, you can try drinking only water; or take half a glass of carrot juice mixed with an equal quantity of water instead.
After the all-juice diet, the patient may continue taking an all-fruit diet for the next five days. Take three meals a day, consisting only of juicy fruits, such as apples, pears, grapes, grape-fruit, oranges, pineapple, peaches, and melons. These meals should be taken at five-hour intervals.
