Cestodiasis is also called tapeworm disease or taeniasis, it is a parasitic infestation by various species of tapeworms which results into a chronic intestinal disease and dangerous systemic central nervous system (CNS) symptoms especially if the larva of taenia selium invaded the brain and striated muscles of the vital organs.


Type of Tapeworms:

Taenia saginata (beef tapeworm)
Taenia solium (pork tapeworm)
Diphyllobothrium latum (fish tapeworm)
Hymenolepis nana (dwarf tapeworm).

Causes of Cestodiasis

Ingestion of tapeworm cyst from beef, pork or fish

Symptom of Cestodiasis

  • Nausea
  • Diarrhea
  • Flatulence
  • Weight loss
  • Hunger sensations
  • Or asymptomatic

Sometimes, worm segments may exit through the anus and appear on beddings

Treatment / Home Remedies for Cestodiasis

Black walnut oil:

One of the best known home remedy practices in treating cestodiasis is Black Walnut Oil. Putting one or two drops is sufficient enough in a glass of water, drink two times a day. Skin reactions may occur when drinking black walnut oil in water for the elimination of worms. When they are exposed to the oil, they will cease releasing toxins to protect their living environment. The toxins that are absorbed into the blood cause rashes on the skin. To avoid this condition, start out slow and increase dosage over longer periods.

Pumpkin seeds and onions mixed with soymilk:
Good remedy for almost all type of worm eradication.

Cloves:
Use more cloves with every meal. Adding some to foods will help kill the eggs from parasites in the intestinal tract. Cloves added to coffee or an herbal tea adds better taste.

Apple cider:
Mix one or two teaspoons of apple cider vinegar in one glass of water. Alternatively, you can take one tablespoon daily of 1 part apple cider vinegar, 2 parts apple juice, 1 part apple brandy.

Avoid eating raw or improperly cooked fish, pork and chicken meat
