Hyperthyroidism
Hyperthyroidism is a condition of too much thyroid hormone on tissues of the body. When the body’s metabolism is increased, affected persons often feel hotter than those around them and can slowly lose weight even though they may be eating more than the average person does. Weight is confusing since some affected person actually gains weight due to an increase in eating appetite.
