Eczema
Eczema is a term generally used to describe a non-contagious group of skin disorders. Types of common eczema are atopic eczema, contact dermatitis, xerotic eczema, and seborrhoeic dermatitis.
Among these types, atopic eczema or dermatitis is the most prevalent. It mainly occurs among infants of children. There is an inflammation and swelling of the upper surfaces of the skin

Signs and symptoms of this skin disease includes dryness, flaking, skin inflammation, itchiness, redness, blisters forming, and rough skin.
It is also considered to be wildly hereditary. It may run through family history, especially those who are linked with other conditions such as asthma and hay fever.
Causes
Causes varies according to certain body types. Allergies to irritants such coming from smoke fumes and chemical ingredients from detergents, solvents; drastic weather changes, and even extreme heat and emotional stress can trigger this condition. Even deficiency of vitamin B6 causes eczema.
Home Remedies
Camphor: Mix 1-teaspoon camphor and 1 teaspoon sandalwood paste and apply it directly on the rashes.
Nutmeg: Applying nutmeg paste to the affected areas will also help relieve the symptoms.
Vitamin E: To relieve skin from itchiness, apply natural vitamin E on the affected area.
Zinc: Oral and direct application of zinc on the affected skin is also an effective remedy.
Shark cartilage: Both shark cartilage and blueberry leaf lotion will help reduce the skin inflammation.
Pine tar: If it is available, wash the affected area using pine tar soap.
Tomato: Drinking tomato juice everyday will help cure the symptoms in a few days.
Diets
Try to avoid foods that will give you skin allergies for they are the basis of getting eczema. These foods may include certain dairy products, eggs, nuts, preservatives and some citrus fruits.
