Plantar Fascia or Plantar Fascistic
Plantar fascistic is the term used to describe the inflammation of the plantar fascia. The plantar fascia is a long and broad fibrous band of tissue that stretches from the heel bone to the fore foot. Plantar fascistic is characterized by a severe pain of the feet. It is common among pregnant women, and obese and diabetic patients.

Causes
It is primarily caused by constant overloading and stretching of the plantar fascia. The tissue tears at the heel bone and plantar fascia junction. Wearing poorly cushioned shoes and aging also contributes to this condition for it causes wear and tearing of the plantar fascia tissue.
Wearing high heels and shoes with high arches, or constant standing in flat feet, traumatic accidental injury and structural imbalance of the foot are other causes leading to this condition.
